Dr. Peter Adoplh has been a member of the executive board of FAS Lease AG since 2009. He studied at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University [Berufsakademie Stuttgart], the University of Hohenheim and the University of Zurich, and obtained a PhD in the area of lease accounting in accordance with IFRS. The focal points of his work are the accounting and controlling of lease transactions, including IT-technical implementation. Previously, he worked for many years at KPMG AG, Frankfurt, auditing and advising leasing companies, and ran the Financial Services segments at Linde AG, Munich, and the KION Group AG, Wiesbaden. Dr. Peter Adolph is a part-time instructor at various universities and the author of numerous articles and commentaries on the subject of lease accounting. He also belongs to the "International Accounting" working group of the Association of German Leasing Companies [Bundesverband deutscher Leasing-Unternehmen e.V., BDL].
After obtaining a degree in economics at the Universities of Stuttgart-Hohenheim and Amherst/Massachusetts (USA) and working for two years in auditing and tax consulting, Jürgen Diehm came to FAS AG in 2000 as a senior consultant. As a registered Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with more than 18 years of professional experience in finance and accounting, Mr. Diehm has extensive project management experience in the optimization of structures, processes, and systems for efficient and goal-oriented corporate controlling. His expertise lies in the design, selection, and implementation of IT solutions in the finance and accounting of companies in various industries and with different sizes. Furthermore, Mr. Diehm is responsible for the business segment of Business Services at FAS AG and its subsidiary FAS Business Services GmbH.
Philipp Freigang, together with FAS partner Andreas Huthmann, is responsible for „Financial Services” at FAS AG. His consulting activities focus on all questions surrounding the application of IFRS 9 as well as the modernization and harmonization of financial architecture in banks. Before joining FAS AG, he worked in an international finance consultancy.
After receiving his degree in business administration, Dr. Christian Herold began his professional career at KPMG AG in Frankfurt am Main. Parallel to this, he obtained a PhD at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University. As auditor and senior manager, Christian Herold primarily advised and audited DAX companies. The focal points of his consulting work are the implementation of new accounting standards such as IFRS 15 and 16, the optimization of financial reporting, and complex accounting-relevant issues.

Andreas Huthmann has been a partner of FAS AG and responsible for the area of financial services since 2014, since July 2018 he is Managing Partner. At FAS AG in Switzerland, he is also a member of the executive board. After obtaining a degree as qualified bank clerk [Bankkaufmann], Andreas Huthmann studied business administration at the Philipps University of Marburg. Furthermore, while studying part time and working at FAS AG, Andreas Huthmann received an Executive MBA at the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management and the Kellogg School of Management, and also studied as part of exchange programs in Chicago, Miami, and Tel Aviv. Andreas Huthmann is, among others, an advisor at the Academy for International Accounting and the Academy of Finance of the Association of German Public Banks [Verband öffentlicher Banken, VöB].
After his training program at Dresdner Bank AG, Nils Klamar studied business administration at the University of Osnabrück and began as a consultant at FAS AG in 2007. After a few years of technical training, he was given responsibility for the Valuation & Transaction Services segment, which he was able to greatly expand, particularly in 2015 and 2016. Mr. Klamar is a certified trader, chartered financial analyst, and holds an Executive MBA from Kellogg WHU. At FAS AG he is a specialist for M&A advising, due diligences, corporate valuations, impairment tests, and purchase price allocations. Mr. Klamar is an alumnus of the Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft e.V., a member of InPraxi e.V. and the German CFA Society e.V., and is co-president of the Kellogg Alumni Club of Germany.
Thomas Krug, Diplom-Kaufmann (graduate in Business Management), has been the Managing Director of WTS Consulting since 2009 and a member of the Executive Board of FAS AG since August 2017. Prior to his work at WTS, he held various management positions at Siemens AG in Germany and abroad. Most recently, as CFO, he was responsible for a globally operating shared service organization and prior to that he handled consolidated financial statements and management reporting at Siemens AG. He was also in charge of the project to convert the accounting to US GAAP and the IPO of Siemens AG on the NYSE. The personal focus of his advisory work has been in particular on the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP and the German Commercial Code [Handelsgesetzbuch, HGB]. In addition, he has many years of experience in the area of carve outs, IPOs, post-merger integration and quality assurance.
Ulrich Sommer has been a partner of FAS AG since autumn of 2007, and in his capacity as COO (Chief Operating Officer) has overseen operational coordination and execution of projects in cooperation with department managers. He is also responsible for IFRS/US GAAP conversion projects and projects for optimization of financing and accounting. He studied business administration at the University of Regensburg and at Trinity College Dublin. Before starting at FAS AG in October 2000, Ulrich Sommer worked in the area of SME consulting at the international auditing firm Arthur Andersen. In October 2000 Ulrich Sommer, successfully passed the test to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the United States. Since 2010 he has also been a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
Dirk Spalthoff is responsible for the development and expansion of advisory expertise in northern and western Germany. The focal points of his advisory work in the area of "Industry" are process optimization in the context of the CFO agenda, value-oriented corporate management, IFRS-relevant and accounting-relevant issues, and the complete and holistic support of company transactions and valuations. Prior to his time at FAS, Dirk Spalthoff spent many years in a leading position at Ernst & Young in the area of transaction advising, and led national and international advisory projects in the area of corporate transactions and valuations as well as audit engagements and international accounting services for major clients and SMEs. Furthermore, he provides in-depth sector and process experience thanks to his degree in business and career as an investment banker and auditor.

Mario Treude, accountant, was a founding shareholder of aeveo GmbH, the predecessor to FAS Business Services GmbH. As a certified accountant with many years of experience at law firms, in industry and trade, he is a specialist for operational accounting and all processes in the daily accounting of SMEs. His entrepreneurial approach plays an important role for the implementation of numerous outsourcing projects. Since 2014, as managing director of FAS Business Services GmbH, he has been the first contact for all questions related to clients' ongoing accounting.
Ingo Weber founded FAS AG together with Peter Leibfried and has served on the executive board of FAS AG since June 2000. Prior to founding FAS AG, Ingo Weber worked at the international accounting firm Arthur Andersen and was responsible for auditing and consulting for companies of various sectors and sizes. He has also helped numerous clients introduce IAS/IFRS and US GAAP. In addition, he provided support for a number of companies in connection with optimization of internal reporting, planning, and controlling. From October 1999 until his appointment to the executive board of FAS AG, Ingo Weber worked as an independent corporate consultant. In January 2000 he was appointed to the position of tax advisor.
